I am so proud of my DIY giant paper sunflower template because it was a challenge to create it from cardstock, especially the center part.
I didn’t like the usual way of making a sunflower center (where you roll up and glue a lot of paper strips together), because I didn’t want it to be heavy and time-consuming. I wanted to create an easy-to-make and lightweight center that looks realistic. So here it is :-)!
This flower is perfect for Fall and Thanksgiving decor, Halloween, but also for bright summer compositions – depending on what to combine it with. I promise you will enjoy the process and love the result!
Required materials (not included) – cardstock paper, hot glue, regular glue
